Recipes from Ulichka. Meat:

Veal medallions with mushrooms  

Cooking time  60 min.


Veal  500 gr
Provence herbs  1 tsp
Soy  2 tablespoons
Ginger powder  0,5 tsp
Mushrooms (fresh)  200 gr
Cheese (hard)  150 gr
Vegetable oil  5 tablespoons

Preparation: Veal cut into pieces 1 cm thick, marinate in soy sauce, Provencal herbs and ginger. Marinate 30 minutes. Form medallions: tie a piece of meat floss to have turned round pieces. Fry pan until golden brown on both sides with vegetable oil. Remove thread. Mushrooms chopped thinly and fry in vegetable oil. Put the meat in a baking dish, spread vegetable oil to form, put mushrooms on each slice of meat, sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in oven until cheese is melted (about 15 minutes).
